Allium Gladiator

Allium 'Gladiator' is one of the classic giant purple alliums for farms that want bold spring stems with immediate florist appeal. It produces tall, straight scapes topped with large lilac-purple globes and is best planned as a premium one-stem-per-bulb crop. The crop is relatively simple in the field, but profitability depends on buying good bulb grades, planting in sharply drained soil, harvesting in a narrow window, and selling into markets that value large sculptural stems.

Allium senescens ‘Glaucum’ is a compact, blue-green, corkscrew-foliaged perennial allium for growers who want a distinctive small botanical crop rather than a tall production allium.
